In high school, I took an Introduction to Graphic Design course and discovered my passion for creating visual art, especially for digital platforms. In 2019, I enrolled at Triton College, where I quickly realized I wanted to pursue a university education to deepen my understanding of Graphic Design and experience campus life. I then transferred to the University of Wisconsin-Parkside, but my time there was cut short by the Covid pandemic. Eventually, I committed to a four-year program at the School of Design at UIC, where I am set to graduate with a degree in BDes Graphic Design.
At UIC, I've uncovered a new passion: analog art. I truly enjoy creating artwork with traditional media, such as painting, drawing, or collage, and scanning it at high resolution to transition it into a digital format. I'm eager to apply the skills and knowledge I've gained at UIC while integrating my interests in typography, mixed media, and photography into future projects.
